We would like to introduce ourselves

In 1973, Henry "Stumpy" Becker opened a tavern in Rushford, Minnesota. Rushford being a small town, Stumpy knew he had to work hard to get the tavern profitable. After a few years, Stumpy's became a hit. Henry wanted to expand his business by selling food like the following items: hotdogs, tacos, hamburgers, and pizza. Henry inquired the pizza recipe from a friend and changed the recipe slightly to what it is today. With everything being homemade, the pizza was an instant hit.

In 1983, Henry continued to expand his business by selling his pizza at the Houston County Fair in Caledonia, Minnesota and at Steam Engine Days in Mabel, Minnesota. Henry created Stumpy's Concessions. A few years later, he built a concession trailer and traveled to a variety of small town festivals and local fairs. In 2004, Henry built a new travel concession trailer with a complete commercial kitchen. With the new trailer, he was able to expand the menu and create fresh pizza on site.

Today, Stumpy's Concessions sells a variety of food at eight events each summer. The crew is looking to continue expanding their business.
